Here are some essential tips for dog walking in hot weather to keep your pup cool, comfortable, and active. Hot Weather Walking Tips:

1. Walk Early or Late:

The sun is strongest between 10 AM and 4 PM. Opt for early morning or late evening walks when it's cooler, and the pavement is less likely to burn your dog's paws.

2. Stay Hydrated:

Always carry water for both you and your dog. Frequent water breaks are essential to prevent dehydration.

3. Seek Shade:

Choose routes with plenty of shade. Parks and tree-lined streets provide natural cover from the sun's rays.

4. Use Dog-Friendly Sunscreen:

Yes, dogs can get sunburned too! Apply pet-safe sunscreen to exposed areas, like the nose and ears, especially if your dog has short hair or light-colored fur.
